Door Glass replacement, recommendation in Edmonton

On a cold snowy March Alberta weekend a person reached out on Social Media (X – formerly Twitter). A couple people that followed them recommended they come to Crackmasters for their door glass replacement. Monday was busy and I answered my quote requests and did not recognise the door glass quote requests as the one from the weekend. I replied as per normal giving all the details and asking for confirmation and clarification. The door glass needed was not in Edmonton but I could get it the next day. Not knowing their situation, I offered our garage/shop as a storage location until we could start the work the next afternoon. Securing the car and protecting it from the elements is a standard offer.

The install time for Tuesday afternoon was confirmed and I noted that we welcome early drop-offs. The car arrived early Tuesday. We were able to move it inside and start before the scheduled time. Cleaning glass and debris is our standard work practice to both protect our team and the vehicle. We treat everyone’s vehicle as if it was our own.

The cleanup and install went well and we contacted them. It still did not occur to me that this was the same Twitter call for recommendations from the weekend. We treated them to our high level of care. We even noticed the battery was weak so we connected our trickle charger and charged it from 10% up to full – in time for them to drive home.
