Heated windshield – a common glass option in Alberta

Does your vehicle have a heated windshield? Are you sure? It is a very common option that most drivers do not know they have. Older vehicles had switches to engage the heat but most are now connected to the defrost settings. Often you cannot even see the lines in the Glass….

What to look for? lift your windshield wipers and look for lines under the Wiper Park area (windshield wiper rest area) often they are black in the black area so, inspect where there is good lighting.
